The slope of the outer shell roof ensures that water does not accumulate, and the roof also has beams so that other goods can be placed on top, such as a pallet. The roof of the outer shell also provides additional protection for the fuel tank as the roof is doubled.
The lifting lugs integrated into the hot-dip galvanized corner protections are tested and approved for the weight of the filled tank. The corner protections are two-part to facilitate repair after a possible impact, as it is usually the lower part that is damaged. Along all edges run galvanized protective strips that can be replaced, and to further preserve the tank’s condition and appearance from scratches and other wear, the sides are designed so that markings are protected and the forklift pockets slightly protrude to protect against impact damage.
The cab-style tank hatch and the slightly forward-angled filling connection contribute to a more comfortable working environment. Under the tank hatch there are other ergonomically designed functions, such as a 2” ball valve for venting during tank filling, an easily accessible flange-mounted inspection hole, as well as flange-mounted suction and return lines. The flange connections enable easy size changes as well as convenient servicing of the check valve. There is space for a pump package and other smaller equipment. It is available in 3 different sizes and can be equipped with, among other things, pump packages, counters, and quick couplings.
